Content DescriptionIES DG-29-11, developed by IES in association with the Lighting Controls Association, describes the technical requirements for commissioning lighting and control systems to achieve owner performance criteria in new construction. Retro-commissioning, or application of the Commissioning Process to an existing facility that has not previously been commissioned, is not specifically addressed in this guide, although the same basic process can be applied. The procedures, methods and documentation requirements in this guideline describe the application of lighting and control systems. DG-29-11 should be considered a supplement to ASHRAE Guideline 0-2005 The Commissioning Process. The Guideline was also published by the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) as Guideline 0, the Total Building Commissioning Process. This Design Guide includes requirements for lighting and control systems to fully support the Commissioning Process documentation, verification and acceptance activities during each phase of the Commissioning Process, including a Systems Manual and training for operations and maintenance personnel and occupants. The appropriate application of this guideline will depend upon the ownerThis book also exists in the following packages...Subscription InformationMADCAD.com IES subscriptions are annual and access is concurrency based (number of people that can access the subscription at any given time).
