  • Describe how thin gauged porcelain tile panels/slabs contribute to sustainable construction via reduction of demolition waste, virgin resource consumption, and carbon emissions during manufacturing, shipping, and installation.
  • Identify how thin gauged porcelain tile panels/slabs can be installed to improve sound abatement to meet code requirements for STC ratings.
  • Explain how installing with adhesives instead of mortar eliminates airborne particulates, water consumption, and electricity consumption to protect occupant and worker health and reduce water and energy use.
