Description of ASTM-D2827 2013

ASTM D2827 - 13

Standard Specification for Styrene Monomer

Active Standard ASTM D2827 | Developed by Subcommittee: D16.07

Book of Standards Volume: 06.04

ASTM D2827

Abstract

This specification covers styrene monomer. The purity, aldehydes, peroxides, polymer, inhibitor, ethylbenzene, water, and color shall be tested to meet the requirements specified.

This abstract is a brief summary of the referenced standard. It is informational only and not an official part of the standard; the full text of the standard itself must be referred to for its use and application. ASTM does not give any warranty express or implied or make any representation that the contents of this abstract are accurate, complete or up to date.

1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers styrene monomer.

1.2 The following applies to all specified limits in this standard: for purposes of determining conformance with this standard, an observed value or a calculated value shall be rounded off to the nearest unit in the last right-hand digit used in expressing the specification limit, in accordance with the rounding-off method of Practice E29 .

1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.

1.4 Consult current OSHA regulations , suppliers Material Safety Data Sheets, and local regulations for all materials used in this specification.

2. Referenced Documents (purchase separately) The documents listed below are referenced within the subject standard but are not provided as part of the standard.
