1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers the requirements applicable to the design and construction of rotary positive displacement distillate fuel pumps for shipboard use.

1.2 Lineal dimensions and units of force in this specification are expressed in inches and pounds respectively. A companion metric standard is in the process of preparation.
