Description of ASTM-F670 2012ASTM F670 - 02(2012)Standard Specification for Tanks, 5 and 10-Gal (20 and 40-L) Lube Oil DispensingActive Standard ASTM F670 | Developed by Subcommittee: F25.03 Book of Standards Volume: 01.07 ASTM F670Abstract This specification covers the material, dimensions, and construction of 5 and 10-gal (20 and 40-L) tanks purchased to store and dispense lubricating oils. The tanks are industrial safety cans mounted on a T-bar bracket, complete with drip tray. Internal air pressure test shall be performed on the tank to meet the requirements prescribed. There should be no visible seam leakage when subjected to underwater or soap bubble test. This abstract is a brief summary of the referenced standard.
