Guide 1 – An Introduction to Evidence-Based Design: Exploring Healthcare and Design – delves into the history and evolution of evidence-based design (EBD) through its present definition and introduces the key steps of the EBD process. The components of the healthcare delivery system, the trends affecting it, and the various settings in which delivery occurs are also explored. Project examples are included.
